Don’t get me wrong. I’ve mellowed over an Old Fashioned a thousand feet above the Chicago lakeshore. I’ve drunk Mekong whisky as the waves lapped quietly up the white evening sands of Koh Samui. I’ve sunk a Suntory after a bruising day in the dojo. And I’ve been rejuvenated by a large Officers Choice three days into a rampant monsoon storm.
That’s life.
